Salary Range: $48,000 - $71,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and visual inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMMs.
• Document inspection results, deviations, and non-conformances accurately in quality records.
• Identify, segregate, and tag non-conforming materials according to established procedures.
• Assist in root cause analysis and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Conduct basic calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment.
• Support the development and improvement of quality control processes and documentation.

Recommended Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Associate's degree in a technical field preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing quality assurance or inspection role
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) and ability to read blueprints/GD&T
• Understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and basic statistical process control (SPC)
• Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification or equivalent experience
• Experience operating or programming CMMs (Coordinate Measuring Machines)
• Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
• Internal auditing experience against ISO 9001 or similar quality standards
