Junior Video Editor - Podcast & YouTube (Lapeer, MI)
We're hiring an in-house Junior Video Editor to take over our podcast and YouTube long-form content.
Who we are: A multi-brand company currently launching a social media campaign with high-volume output. We need an editor to help continue that growth. Our shorts editor is already in seat. You'd own the long-form work.
The role:
- Full-time, in-office in Lapeer, Michigan
- 9–5
- Starting at $40K
- Editing podcasts and YouTube long-form videos
What you'll do:
- Edit weekly podcast episodes
- Edit Main Channel YouTube longs — tight, story-driven, retention-focused
- Keep project files and drives organized
- Take feedback, iterate fast, hit deadlines
Who you are:
- You have real editing experience. Wedding videos, music videos, a friend's startup, your own YouTube channel — doesn't matter where it came from. You've cut hours of footage and you can prove it
- Premiere Pro and CapCut experience preferred
- You're hungry. You want to get good. You take notes seriously
- You have a portfolio, even if it's rough
- You can take critique without it becoming a thing. This isn't a hand-holding role

- Someone who's never finished a project
