Software Developer (Saginaw, Michigan) - Remote | WFH

Are you a skilled Software Developer looking for an opportunity to create impactful solutions? We're looking for an experienced developer to design and develop web, desktop, and console applications using C#, .NET, and ASP.NET MVC. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, with a mix of remote work and on-site collaboration in Saginaw, Michigan. Candidates should be within driving distance of the office.

What You'll Do

Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to define business requirements and deliver effective solutions.

Design, develop, test, and implement software applications that meet or exceed business expectations.

Improve and enhance existing applications to optimize performance and usability.

Assist users in defining business rules and high-level process requirements.

Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems and applications.

Implement security systems to protect data integrity and ensure compliance.

Manage system security, user access, authentication, and resource permissions.

Provide training and support for users on software and system operations.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).

Six or more years of IT experience.

Four or more years of experience in application design and development, including:

C#

Microsoft .NET

Microsoft ASP.NET

ADO.Net

CSS, HTML, JavaScript

XML and web services

Microsoft SQL Server

Object-oriented analysis and design

Programmatic interaction with relational databases (SQL and stored procedures)

Experience in designing user-friendly interfaces and websites.

Familiarity with the full software development lifecycle.

Nice to Have

Additional experience with:

Java, JSP, Java Servlet

Tomcat, Eclipse IDE

Visual Basic 6
