Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A pediatric speech-language pathologist (SLP) with experience in school settings is needed for a maternity leave contract position at two elementary schools in Fruitport, MI. This role primarily involves supporting students in kindergarten through second grade, spanning both special education and general education services.

Location: Fruitport, Michigan
Position Type: Leave contract
Duration: August through end of November, with possible extension
Schedule: Ideally full-time hours
Caseload: Approximately 50 students
School Settings: One public elementary and one private elementary school

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to K-2 students
• Manage individual and group treatment sessions aligned with IEP goals
• Collaborate with educators and related service providers to support student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in the district's IEP system
• Attend team meetings and contribute to student evaluations and planning
• Provide indirect services, including consultation and planning as required

Qualifications:

• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
• Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings
• Knowledge of special education regulations and individualized education program (IEP) processes
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work on-site in both public and private school environments
