Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
We are looking for a talented Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the school year.
Rate Range : $52.00-$60.00 per hour
Responsibilities would include:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments to evaluate student needs.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and therapy plans.
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services in one-on-one, small group, and classroom settings.
- Address articulation, fluency, voice, receptive/expressive language, and social communication challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education teams to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with Michigan Department of Education (MDE) and IDEA guidelines.
- Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and multidisciplinary team discussions.
- Train and support teachers and staff on speech-language strategies and classroom accommodations.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Michigan Speech-Language Pathology License (issued by the Michigan Board of Speech-Language Pathology).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
- Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required.
