A leading industrial operation specializing in underground material transport and processing is seeking skilled Heavy Equipment Operators to support its high-demand mining activities. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience operating haul trucks and other heavy equipment in rugged environments, preferably underground, and brings a strong commitment to safety, mechanical aptitude, and reliability.

What you will be doing:

• Operate heavy equipment (haul trucks, loaders, skid steers, articulated trucks) in an underground mining environment

• Load, haul, and unload salt and other materials safely and efficiently

• Perform basic maintenance tasks on conveyors, crushers, screens, and mobile equipment

• Assist the maintenance team with repairs as needed

• Maintain clean and safe work areas through routine housekeeping

• Complete documentation accurately and on time

• Communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure safety and production goals are met

• Uphold all safety procedures and MSHA regulations

Experience you will need:

• 2+ years of experience operating heavy equipment in industrial or mining environments

• Preferred familiarity with underground operations and equipment such as haul trucks, loaders, and skid steers

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying temperature conditions underground

• Strong attention to safety and mechanical problem-solving

• Must pass a physical and drug screening

• Must be able to work full-time and comply with all PPE requirements
