About the Role:
The Assistant Night Auditor at Summit plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during the night shift. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing guest transactions, and providing exceptional customer service to guests checking in or out during late hours. The Assistant Night Auditor will also assist in preparing daily financial reports and reconciling discrepancies to ensure the integrity of the hotel's financial data. By effectively managing these responsibilities, the Assistant Night Auditor contributes to the overall guest experience and operational efficiency of the hotel. Ultimately, this role is vital in supporting the hotel's commitment to excellence in hospitality and ensuring a seamless transition between day and night operations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in hospitality management or related field.
- Experience with hotel management software and point-of-sale systems.
- Bilingual abilities to assist a diverse range of guests.
Responsibilities:
- Perform nightly audits of financial transactions and ensure accuracy in guest accounts.
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out processes, addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Prepare and distribute daily financial reports to management, highlighting any discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring all supplies are stocked and available.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a high level of service and guest satisfaction.
