Salary Range: $59,000 - $91,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, write, and debug CMM inspection programs from CAD models and engineering drawings.
• Validate and prove-out CMM programs to ensure accuracy and repeatability of measurements.
• Analyze measurement data and generate comprehensive inspection reports for quality assurance.
• Troubleshoot CMM program errors and optimize existing programs for efficiency and throughput.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to define measurement strategies and requirements.
• Select appropriate probes, fixtures, and setup methodologies for various part inspections.
• Maintain and update CMM program libraries and associated documentation.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in CMM programming software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS).
• Expert ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and GD&T.
• Strong understanding of metrology principles and measurement techniques.
• Experience with CAD software for model import and analysis.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and quality control standards.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD software for fixture design or model manipulation.
• Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and data analysis.
• Familiarity with other advanced metrology equipment (e.g., vision systems, laser scanners).
• Ability to develop and deliver training on CMM operation, programming, or GD&T principles.
