Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of manufacturing engineers and technicians.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of engineering projects within manufacturing operations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes, enhance product quality, and reduce operational costs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, R&D) to resolve technical challenges and support new product introduction.
• Develop and implement engineering strategies aligned with overall business objectives and manufacturing capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental policies in all engineering activities.
• Manage the departmental budget, allocate resources effectively, and oversee capital expenditure for manufacturing technology.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) with 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive leadership experience managing engineering teams and projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in manufacturing processes, automation, and industrial equipment.
• Proven track record of implementing continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to drive operational excellence.
• Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and resource allocation for complex engineering initiatives.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities to address technical and production challenges effectively.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Experience implementing Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g., IoT, AI/ML in manufacturing).
• Advanced proficiency with PLM/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Siemens Teamcenter).
