What You'll Be Doing

As a CNC Lathe Operator , your core responsibilities will include:

• Machine Operation: Set up and operate CNC lathes to manufacture precision-turned components according to specifications.

• Quality Assurance: Inspect parts using micrometers, bore gauges, and calipers to ensure accuracy and consistency.

• Machine Adjustments: Perform minor program edits, tool changes, and machine adjustments to maintain proper tolerances.

In addition, you will also be expected to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while contributing to overall production efficiency and quality.

What we're looking for

To be successful in this role, you should have the following:

Qualifications:

• Prior experience operating CNC lathes in a manufacturing or job shop environment

• Ability to set up machines, change tools, and dial in parts accurately

• Capable of working independently and staying focused in a fast-paced setting

Skills:

• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of CNC lathe operations, tool offsets, and part finishing to produce high-quality results.

• Precision Measurement: Proficiency in using micrometers, bore gauges, and calipers to verify part dimensions and quality.

• Attention to Detail: Commitment to maintaining tight tolerances, safety standards, and consistent production output.
