Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, analysis, and documentation of mechanical systems for commercial, institutional, and industrial buildings. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge, and a proven ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, cost-effective engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop the mechanical design and engineering of HVAC, plumbing and piping for industrial and commercial facilities.
• Perform energy modeling and sustainability analysis in support of LEED or local energy codes.
• Prepare detailed mechanical drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, and other BIM tools.
• Collaborate with internal project teams and external stakeholders to ensure integrated, coordinated MEP solutions.
• Conduct site inspections, feasibility assessments, and condition evaluations of mechanical systems.
• Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and cost estimates.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements (ASHRAE, NFPA, IBC, local building codes, etc.).
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical support during all phases of the design and construction process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 1-5 years of mechanical engineering experience in industrial and commercial building systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and mechanical design software (e.g., Trace 700, HAP, EnergyPlus).
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently or in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

• LEED accreditation or sustainability design experience.
• Experience with project coordination and working directly with clients.
• Familiarity with construction phase services and fieldwork.
