Job Title: HVAC Maintenance Technician Job Description

Join our dynamic team as an HVAC Maintenance Technician, where you'll be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of HVAC systems primarily for residential customers in and around Oakland County.

Responsibilities
  • Perform HVAC maintenance work, including tune-ups, filter changes, and inspections.
  • Clean coils and parts, check refrigerant levels, and inspect electrical connections.
  • Ensure units are running efficiently.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating issues and solutions effectively to customers.
Essential Skills
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in residential HVAC work or maintenance.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maneuver heavier items using appropriate devices.
  • Capability to work from heights and in small crawl spaces.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • EPA Certification.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong customer service skills to ease customer tensions.
  • Experience with HVAC equipment repair and installation.
  • Knowledge of heating, cooling, and electrical systems.

Work Environment

Technicians will perform both commercial and residential work, requiring travel between sites using a company vehicle. The workload is distributed as 10-20% commercial, 30% new construction, and 50-60% residential work.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $45760.00/yr.
