We are looking for a skilled and reliable Painter to join our team. In this role, you will prepare surfaces and apply paint, stains, and finishes to the interiors and exteriors of residential and/or commercial properties.
What You'll Do
- Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, removing old paint, and filling holes or cracks with putty or caulk.
- Protect surrounding areas, floors, and furniture by setting up drop cloths and taping off edges.
- Apply primer, paint, and stains using brushes, rollers, or spray guns.
- Mix and match paint colors to meet client specifications.
- Clean up the job site, clean all brushes and equipment, and store materials properly.
- Follow all safety rules, especially when working on ladders or scaffolding.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as an interior/exterior painter or painting contractor.
- Deep knowledge of different paint types, finishes, and application techniques.
- A steady hand and great attention to detail for clean lines and flawless finishes.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, climb ladders, and work overhead.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
