As a State Farm Agent Team Member - Receptionist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service to State Farm policyholders. You will be responsible for managing the front desk, greeting visitors, answering phone calls, assisting with payments, and directing inquiries to the appropriate team members.

Responsibilities- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner, ensuring a positive first impression of the agency.
- Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally, directing calls to the appropriate team members or providing assistance as needed.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring timely and accurate distribution.
- Handle customer inquiries, providing basic information about State Farm Insurance products and services.
- Direct policyholders to the appropriate team members for more complex inquiries or assistance.
- Collaborate with other team members to support agency operations and meet customer service goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring a professional and inviting atmosphere.
- Assist with general billing inquiries
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers and team members.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite and basic office equipment.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to handle multiple phone lines and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Professional and courteous demeanor, with the ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
- Knowledge of State Farm insurance products, policies, and procedures is desirable.
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude and willingness to assist others.
- A Property & Casualty insurance license is REQUIRED.
- A Life & Health Insurance license is REQUIRED.
