General Laborer
Location: Corunna, MI
Pay: $16.00/hour
Shift: M-F, 6:00am - 3:00pm

Our Corunna based client is seeking a General Laborer to join their team. Duties:

• Assist Fabricators and Machine Operators
  Support fabrication staff by staging materials, preparing parts for production, and cleaning work areas
• Material Handling
  Load and unload raw materials and finished products
  Move materials throughout the shop to maintain workflow
  Keep materials organized and labeled properly
• General Labor
  Perform shop maintenance such as sweeping, organizing, and ensuring a safe work environment
  Assist with packaging, labeling, and preparing orders for shipment
• Saw Operation
  Operate a metal-cutting saw to cut material to specified lengths
  Measure and verify dimensions using basic tools like tape measures and calipers
  Maintain the saw area, ensuring blades and equipment are in proper working order

Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Comfortable working in a metal fabrication shop environment
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic measuring skills (tape measure, calipers)
• Previous experience in fabrication or industrial work is a plus (but not required—training provided)
• Dependable and detail-oriented with a strong focus on safety

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing environment with exposure to metal fabrication equipment and moderate noise levels
• Regular interaction with fabrication and machine operators on the shop floor
