About the role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical skills, enjoys hands-on work, and is comfortable traveling to customer sites for machine installations, service, and training.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and service precision machinery at customer sites (domestic & international)
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues.
• Support customers with technical training and operational guidance on equipment use and care.
• Support the shop floor in machine run-off preparations and ensure thorough equipment familiarization before conducting customer training.
• Prepare detailed service reports, documentation, and time sheets after each service call.
• Represent the company professionally and maintain strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent experience in mechanical, electrical, or mechatronic engineering.
• Hands-on experience with industrial machinery or automations systems preferred
• 4+ years of experience in field service, machinery installation, or industrial equipment maintenance.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and customer service mindset.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required (up to 60%).
