Job Title: Pharmacist Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to accurately process and dispense prescription medications while ensuring compliance with all legal and safety standards. The role involves providing expert pharmaceutical care and patient counseling to optimize medication use. Maintaining patient confidentiality and safeguarding controlled substance records are critical aspects of this position. Collaboration with healthcare providers to clarify prescriptions and resolve any medication-related issues is essential. Responsibilities + Accurately process and dispense prescription medications in compliance with legal and safety standards. + Provide expert pharmaceutical care and patient counseling to ensure optimal medication use. + Maintain and safeguard confidential patient information and controlled substance records. + Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify prescriptions and resolve medication-related issues. + Utilize multiple pharmacy systems and reference tools to support clinical decisions and workflow efficiency. Essential Skills + Pharmacy expertise + Active pharmacist license in Kentucky (all licenses must be in good standing) + PharmD or RPh degree Additional Skills & Qualifications + New graduates are welcome to apply and gain experience Work Environment Work on-site or remote! Monday to Friday during the first shift from 8 am to 4 pm, with some flexibility to 9 am to 5 pm. Closed on Sundays. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Southgate, KY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $64.00/hr.
