About the role:
The Technical Specialist (TS) establishes the technical strategy and drives the tactical execution of that strategy for Fuel Fill and Charge Port Door systems across all vehicles and global platforms. In this role, the TS delivers innovative solutions that directly support the organization’s business objectives and influence overall product performance, cost, quality, and customer experience.
The TS provides strategic direction and technical solutions to executing engineers across all phases of the vehicle development process—ensuring alignment from advanced development through subsystem design, validation, launch readiness, and successful vehicle introduction. This work is performed with strong cross-functional and global collaboration, engaging teams including AVD, DREs, VDDV, Quality, Engineering, Safety, Purchasing, and Validation.
To continuously strengthen subsystem strategy, the TS leverages closed‑loop learnings, leads innovation efforts through Advanced Technology Workshops, and conducts ongoing competitive benchmarking across the global industry.
