TECHNICAL ANALYST I/II/III/SR
The Technical Analyst I/II/ III /SR will ensure the successful implementation of technology solutions by defining and clarifying business requirements while organizing and helping distribute that work internally in Enterprise Applications. They will act as a facilitator between OIT units and campus stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding of responsibilities. They will also work to fulfill requests from our stakeholders, working with systems and data as appropriate. As the position progresses through the levels responsibilities and independence are increased as well as breadth of coverage of applications and teams across the Enterprise Applications portfolio
Required Qualifications: Technical Analyst I:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
One year of experience performing business/systems analysis or similar experience.
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to creatively apply technical skills and theoretical knowledge to the solution of assigned projects.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups across units.
Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
Technical Analyst II:
Technical Analyst I plus:
5 years of experience performing business/systems analysis or similar experience.
Experience leading requirements gathering sessions.
Experience generating documentation or technical writing.
Experience working with data to aid in decision making.
Technical Analyst III :
Technical Analyst II plus:
8 years of experience performing business/systems analysis or similar experience.
Experience working in agile software development environment.
Strong analytical skills with experience in data quality, testing and data governance.
Ability to quickly learn new technologies and business processes.
Technical Analyst Senior:
Technical Analyst III plus:
10+ years of experience performing business/systems analysis or similar experience.
Demonstrated experience breaking down complex technical and process issues.
Demonstrated ability to mentor and train other analysts.
Strong presentation skills and comfort working with executive level stakeholde
Experience in higher education.
Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
Experience with ITIL framework.
Experience with integrations with large ERP systems.
Technical Analyst I:
Provides technical and functional support for Enterprise Applications portfolio.
Responsible for analyzing and gathering business requirements and documenting the technical work needed to meet those requirements.
Assists with the prioritization, assignment and work in the Enterprise Applications group.
Fulfills service requests and implement low/no-code solutions in our Enterprise Applications portfolio as appropriate.
Develops technical and functional documentation of applications, workflows, integrations and knowledge articles as appropriate.
Engages in testing to ensure that implemented solutions meet the business requirements.

Technical Analyst II:
Technical Analyst I skills plus
Provides support for multiple applications within the portfolio.
Works with multiple technical teams to help gather business requirements and document technical work.
Partners with different groups within OIT to deliver comprehensive business solutions.
Technical Analyst III :
Technical Analyst II skills plus:
Provides data support across applications through an understanding of business and technical processes.
Assists with scripting and automation to help drive process efficiency.
Collaborates with cross functional teams to implement process changes that improve the efficiency of Enterprise Applications.
Technical Analyst Sr:
Technical Analyst III skills plus:
Stays informed of technological trends and breakthroughs and make recommendations about their use.
Assists with system integration and architecture and ensuring we construct future proof solutions.
