Job Description

Our client is seeking Autonomous Vehicle Operators who are passionate about safety and vehicle development.

In this role, you will drive development vehicle platforms on public and private roads to gather data, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide key feedback to the engineering team. This position is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the advancement of cutting-edge mobility technology.

The ideal candidate has prior experience with advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), has worked with other AV companies, and is comfortable spending extended periods (up to 8 hours per day) in a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of safety, inside and outside of the vehicles

• Demonstrate situational awareness and adaptability in dynamic environments

• Conduct critical data collections using proprietary software and hardware

• Communicate effectively across multiple channels with engineers and management

• Exercise good judgment and self-motivation while working with minimal supervision

• Represent the technology professionally with the public and stakeholders

• Provide training and mentorship to other drivers

• Maintain, organize, and distribute operational documents

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 1–2 years experience driving 5+ hours daily, or prior autonomous testing experience

• Bachelor’s degree (any field) OR equivalent technical/industry experience

• Strong analytical, reasoning, and communication skills

• Familiarity with Linux is a plus

Required Skills

• Valid U.S. driver’s license with 7+ years of driving experience and a clean record

• Strong computer skills and troubleshooting ability with proprietary tools

• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new concepts

• Excellent verbal and written communication

• Ability to safely operate in all weather conditions (including snow)

• Must pass pre-employment DMV, drug screen, and background check (with random screenings as required)
