Salary Range: $58,000 - $85,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of fabricators, assigning tasks and managing workflow.
• Ensure all fabricated parts meet quality standards, specifications, and production deadlines.
• Provide training, mentorship, and performance feedback to team members.
• Troubleshoot fabrication issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols.
• Interpret engineering blueprints, schematics, and work orders to guide fabrication processes.
• Collaborate with engineering and production planning to optimize fabrication methods and improve efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in a fabrication or manufacturing setting.
• Extensive hands-on expertise in various fabrication techniques (e.g., welding, cutting, forming, assembly).
• Strong ability to read and interpret complex engineering blueprints and technical drawings.
• Demonstrated commitment to quality assurance and adherence to safety protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for fabrication challenges.

Bonus Qualifications

• Advanced welding certifications (e.g., AWS CWI).
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Familiarity with CNC fabrication equipment programming and operation.
• Knowledge of various material properties and their application in fabrication.
