Inventory specialist

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an Inventory Specialist to support our online car auction client in Wayland, MI. The ideal candidate will have prior hand-on experience working in a fast aced environment. Inventory Specialist will be responsible for the inventory of all vehicles at the facility, making sure everything is documented and organized, through company timelines. The Inventory Specialist will document vehicle condition within company standards which includes a complete inventory and supporting photographs of each vehicle. Here are some key responsibilities typically associated with this position:

• Monitor, maintain and organize the receiving area

• Operate camera and utilize a handheld inventory device to process incoming vehicles

• Determine operational capability of motor vehicles

• Complete vehicle inspection inventories (TLEs) on required vehicles

• Maintain inventory of all materials used

• Compliance to company policies and procedures

Skills and Requirements

Must be 18 years or older

Must be able to work Monday to Friday 8AM to 5PM

Ability to work outdoors in all season

Basic computer proficiency, with the ability to operate handheld devices

Strong attention to detail

Ability to work in a team environment
