Job Description

The Privacy and Security Legal team is seeking an experienced Regulatory Compliance Specialist, with Healthcare subject matter expertise, to support the Oracle Health line of business. Oracle Health is a healthcare platform with tools for data-driven, human-centric healthcare experiences to connect consumers, healthcare providers, payers, and public health and life sciences organizations.

Experience:

• 3-5+ years of experience in compliance program management within legal, regulatory, compliance, or risk functions; preferably within HIPAA and privacy-related functions.

• Experience implementing and managing legal, compliance or regulatory compliance programs.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree required; HIPAA or privacy related certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs evaluation of internal operations, controls, communications.

• Conducts risk assessments and maintains documentation related to regulatory compliance and recommends appropriate changes.

• Conducts and facilitates internal reviews to identify and evaluate privacy-related risks and deficiencies.

• Serves as a subject matter expert for internal stakeholders on privacy compliance matters.

• Responds to privacy compliance related requests and RFPs from regulators and other third parties.

• Updates and maintains internal and externally facing privacy documentation.

• Maintains, tracks, and updates required and ad hoc privacy training.

• Manages privacy compliance related projects.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $70,600 to $141,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
