Natures Herbs and Wellness is seeking a dedicated and reliable full-time Custodian to join our team in Garden City. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about maintaining a clean and safe environment in both our store and cultivation facility.

General Information:

• Preference: Candidates with a current badge to work in the cannabis industry in Colorado will be given heavy preference. If you do not have a badge, you can apply for one by clicking HERE! (
• Schedule: Full-time position, 40 hours per week over 5 consecutive days. Flexibility to work on holidays, weekends, and a variety of shifts is required. The current schedule is Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM. The schedule may rotate a few times per year.
• Qualities: Ideal candidates are team-focused, self-motivated, reliable, honest, and willing to follow all organizational and Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) rules.
• Compensation: Starting pay is $16/hour.

The Custodian role involves maintaining cleanliness in both operational and customer-facing areas of the facility.

Basic Functions of the Job:

• Grounds Maintenance: Keep entryways and outdoor areas clean and well-kept.
• Cleaning Tasks: Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, wiping down walls, dusting surfaces, and cleaning windows.
• Restroom Maintenance: Regular cleaning and upkeep of restrooms, including restocking supplies.
• Trash and Recycling: Collect and dispose of trash and recycling from various areas within the facility.
• Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain equipment and materials such as fans, buckets, and cleaning tools.
• Spill Response: Promptly clean up spills to ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Supply Management: Monitor and report inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Documentation: Maintain a log of dates and times when areas have been cleaned and tasks completed.
• Other Duties: Assist with setup and cleanup for events, move furniture and equipment as needed, and perform minor repairs.

Ideal Skills and Experience:

• Time Management: Efficiently manage time to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift at least 25 lbs.
• Safety: Ability to work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies.
• Communication: Effective communication skills to report issues.
• Adaptability: Ability to work in confined areas and handle varying tasks.
• Technical Skills: Basic computer skills for logging and reporting.
