Responsibilities:The Healthcare Data Analyst - Specialty Programs is responsible to oversee and ensure Specialty Programs quality data accuracy and reporting that supports Manager/Leadership in performance management with providers for Specialty Programs through HarmonyCares and meets client expectations. This role supports the collection and validation of supplemental data sources for quality analytics. These activities include analyzing large amounts of data, audit activities, benchmarking, measure validation, producing multiple reports, creation of dashboards and presentations to support current and growth of businesses for quality service offerings. Act as the interface between HarmonyCares business units, IT technical staff and corporate partners while providing operational support to Specialty Programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee and ensure Specialty Programs Quality data accuracy and reporting that supports Manager/Leadership in performance management with providers
- Ensure EHR is built to discretely capture gap closure activities for each measure by providers on the front-end
- Develop and manage payer-specific outputs in supplemental data submission files including all measures
- Work with payer partners to ensure compliance with Quality data validation/audit processes
- Ensure annual compliance with annual changes across HEDIS/STARS technical specifications, policies, and operating procedures in EHR and Specialty Programs reporting as they are made by governing bodies
- Monitor and audit Specialty Programs quality reports
- Create reports and dashboards to monitor quality metrics and gap closure that will be used for Specialty Programs
- Monitor and audit Specialty Program dashboards for both internal and external partners
- Manage all data exchange for HarmonyCares Specialty Programs, including facilitating the building of new required reports/dashboards
- Gather, clearly define, and communicate business requirements and project goals
- Effectively visualize and communicate the risks, insights, patterns, and trends from complex reports and sources
- Perform analysis of business needs to produce overall definitions of workflow and discern needs currently filled using in-place or proposed solutions
- Define the business case for objectives of new projects, including identification of business needs
- Participate in business process engineering projects with the aim of continually improving the efficiency of the business
- Convert the functional requirement into the technical requirements as needed
- Determine the criteria for success and test developed product to ensure compliance with business needs and functional validity
- Be the interface between HarmonyCares business units, IT technical staff and corporate partners

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Associates degree
- 3+ years of health informatics and/or analysis
- 2-4 years’ experience working with HEDIS analytics and data
- Demonstrated written and verbal communications skills
- Advanced operational knowledge of Microsoft Office, Tableau, and SharePoint
- Business case development experience
- Must be able to stay flexible with business changes
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Previous HEDIS/STARS/Risk Adjustment analytical experience
- 1-2 years of experience supporting the development of scalable analytic and reporting solutions
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
