We have two rewarding roles available: Position #1: Support two Early Childhood Special Education classrooms. Begin with a caseload of approximately 20, primarily students with significant communication needs, many utilizing AAC—growing to around 35 over the contract. Position #2: Tackle Early On evaluations and provide speech therapy to preschoolers, maintaining a caseload of about 20 while managing new evaluations as they arise.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state SLP licensure (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Experience or strong interest in pediatrics and school-based settings
- Familiarity with AAC systems (for Position #1)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver effective speech therapy services in preschool and special ed settings
- Perform thorough Early On evaluations (Position #2)
- Maintain documentation in accordance with school and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, families, and staff
