Aftermarket Outside Sales and Estimating – Anchor Conveyor Division - Job

Note: Conveyor experience is mandatory.

Location: Detroit, MI

Salary range: $70,000-$90,000 USD

Position Overview

Our client is a market-leading, trusted automotive service contractor to Fortune 500

companies.

The Aftermarket Outside Sales and Estimating will be responsible for day-to-day duties within the Anchor Conveyor Division including but not limited to the items listed below. The successful candidate will need to act proactively, be punctual, and reliable.

 Working with customers and sales professionals.

 Prepare and submit written quotations.

 Discuss and review system requirements with customers to make application

recommendations based on the provided information.

 Responsible for gathering all the required information needed for quoting and working

collaboratively with job estimating.

 Build relationships with customers to gain long term partnerships.

 Computer – MS Office, Word, Teams and Excel.

 Provide Customer Service.

Education Requirements

 High school diploma is required, college degree preferred.

 Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a similar role.

Experience

 Conveyor experience – heavy automotive industry conveyors – overhead and floor.

 Engineering background or strong mechanical aptitude.

 Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills with emphasis on Word, Excel, Teams and

Outlook.

 Excellent prioritization skills with the ability to prioritize own time, & time and workflow

of others.

 A thorough understanding for the nature of an office environment and the importance

of confidentiality, discretion, and sound judgement.
