HR Logistics is looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic who enjoys working on big equipment, solving problems, and keeping trucks and machinery on the road and operating.

This is not a shop where you’ll be stuck doing the same repetitive oil change every day. Our mechanics work on a huge variety of equipment and handle real hands-on repairs that keep an entire operation moving.

If you like heavy equipment, diesel engines, fabrication, diagnostics, and figuring things out, this is the kind of environment where you’ll stay busy and continue learning.

Equipment You’ll Work On

Our mechanics regularly service and repair:

• Semi trucks
• Roll-off trucks
• Excavators
• Wheel loaders
• Skid steers
• Forklifts
• Trailers
• Other heavy-duty support equipment

One day you could be diagnosing an electrical issue on a truck. The next day you might be rebuilding hydraulics, welding repairs, servicing heavy equipment, or troubleshooting DEF systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled service work
• Troubleshoot and repair:
  • Hydraulic systems
  • Electrical systems
  • Braking systems
  • Pneumatic systems
  • DEF/DPF and aftertreatment systems
• Complete inspections, oil changes, and general mechanical repairs
• Utilize diagnostic software and scan tools when necessary
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Accurately document repairs and maintenance completed
• Ensure all equipment is operating safely and reliably

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of diesel mechanic experience preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Experience with heavy-duty trucks and equipment
• Ability to work independently and stay productive
• Valid driver’s license required
• CDL is a bonus, but not required
• Welding/fabrication experience is a huge plus
