Design and Prototype Lead (Marysville)

Reporting to the design manager, this role designs and reviews drawings and data to prepare for the manufacture
of custom material handling containers. Responsibilities
• Follow internal and customer standards
• Produce drawings, models, and revisions using CAD (NX, SolidWorks,Catia)
• Lead Michigan based prototype reviews
• Communicate with external and internal stakeholders to define product and translate into design solutions
• Provide feedback and offer solutions Location
• This is a hybrid role with most functions happening remotely. Ability to travel in state is a must. Experience
• Proven experience in SolidWorks and NX is required
• Experience in Catia is a bonus
• Ability to proficiently use Excel and other Microsoft 365 applications.
• Experience in automotive tooling, racks, fixtures, or manufacturing design
• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present concepts clearly to technical and non-technical
stakeholders Qualifications
• 3-5 years of relevant experience and/or training, preferably in the industrial packaging environment
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
• High attention to detail and strong reliability
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated ability to optimize processes and workflows
