Service / Install Tech HVAC
Job description:
Were seeking an experienced HVAC Service & Installation Technician to join a growing team in Hart, MI. In this role, youll work on residential and light commercial projects, handling everything from installations to service and maintenance. If youre skilled, motivated, and take pride in delivering excellent customer service, this could be the perfect next step in your career.
Key Responsibilities- Install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork to manufacturer standards and local codes
- Perform diagnostics, service calls, and system repairs
- Conduct preventive maintenance and safety inspections
- Educate customers on system operation, maintenance, and energy efficiency best practices
- Document all work performed, materials used, and customer recommendations
- Maintain company tools, vehicles, and equipment in safe working order
- Follow all safety protocols, building codes, and EPA regulations
Qualifications:
Qualifications- 2+ years of HVAC installation and service experience preferred
- EPA Universal Certification required (or ability to obtain)
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and components
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
