The Peacock Room in Detroit, MI is looking for theater night support to join our team. We are located in the Fisher Building on 3011 West Grand Blvd. Our ideal candidate is energetic, enjoys theater, and engaging. This seasonal position runs September 2024 - June 2025 during show runs at the Fisher Theatre only. Shifts are generally 4:30-7:30PM, 5-7PM or 6-8pm weekdays, and could be up to 12-8pm weekends.

A stylist will be responsible for all facets of the business. Our stylists will drive sales and keep the store looking presentable through merchandising. They will have a passion for fashion and our customers, and lead our values by example.

A stylist will have a sense of personal style, polished appearance, refined taste and a discerning eye for our clients. They will understand the importance of attracting and retaining customers through marketing of all our brands.

Experience

• Public-facing positions, and/or esteemed tastemaker

* Knowledge of broadway shows and places to eat in the area preferred.

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and mobilize small to medium items up to 40 lbs. while utilizing appropriate equipment and techniques

• Ability to maneuver effectively around salesfloor, stock room and any office or storage areas

• Position entails prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending and climbing
