Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed variance analysis for production costs, material usage, and labor efficiency.
• Develop and manage annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts for manufacturing operations.
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports, including P&L statements, operational dashboards, and cost analyses.
• Evaluate capital expenditure requests, performing ROI and payback period analyses for new equipment and projects.
• Analyze product line profitability and support strategic pricing decisions.
• Monitor inventory levels and associated costs, identifying opportunities for optimization and obsolescence reduction.
• Collaborate with operations to identify cost reduction opportunities and drive process improvements.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and valuation techniques.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and variance analysis in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for financial reporting and data extraction.
• Advanced Excel skills for data manipulation and analysis; experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) preferred.
• Ability to analyze manufacturing operational data and translate it into financial insights.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with major ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365)
• Demonstrated understanding of advanced cost accounting principles specific to manufacturing (e.g., activity-based costing, variance analysis)
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for operational and financial KPIs
• Knowledge of supply chain finance concepts and inventory valuation optimization
