Long-Term Contract | Open to Working All 3 Shifts | 12 Hour Days | Weekends

• High School diploma
• Skilled trades background is helpful
• 3 years in a manufacturing is the minimum.
• Skilled trades background, understanding the team and process
• Candidate who has worked in the Union is a plus
• Will be working lots of overtime

What are the primary responsibilities for the Maintenance Supervisor?
Managing skilled trades employees such as machine repair, tool makers, electricians, pipe fitters, millwrights. Troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, breakdowns and repairs.

What types of equipment or systems will this role be responsible for maintaining?
Automated manufacturing machining, Lathes (Not stuff in a tool room), grinders, heat treat Manufacturing OD and ID grinders. Union experience is required

How many skilled tradespeople will this role supervise, and what are their specialties?
12-15 trades. Off shift could be 7-10.

What are your expectations for how the supervisor should lead and support their team?
Accountability, discipline (if necessary) and managerial courage, critical thinkers. Demonstrate a high analytical ability to solve complex problems and conduct appropriate checks and tests and communicate evaluation of results.

What qualities or experience do you think make someone successful in this position? Having experience in Maxmo system or relevant programs. Having experience working with Kronos and having basic computer skills. Company Description
