Java Full Stack Developer

12 Month Contract Role

Hybrid - 2 days per week in office (Tues/Weds)

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Java Developer to join a collaborative Agile team responsible for designing, building, and maintaining enterprise applications. This role involves both back-end and front-end development with a strong emphasis on Java, Spring frameworks, and modern JavaScript/UI technologies. The ideal candidate is self-directed, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while contributing to scalable and user-friendly solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design, develop, test, and deploy complex enterprise applications using Java and Spring frameworks.

· Build responsive, accessible user interfaces in collaboration with UI/UX team members.

· Write clean, maintainable code across both front-end and back-end components.

· Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to team planning, estimation, and retrospectives.

· Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and ensure security and compliance standards are met.

· Collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, and business analysts to align technical solutions with requirements.

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience:

·7+ years of professional experience with Java development in enterprise environments.

·5+ years with Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Hibernate/JPA.

·5+ years of front-end development experience with JavaScript frameworks, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and jQuery.

·4+ years of experience with Java 8 or higher.

· Strong experience working with IDEs such as Eclipse or JBoss Developer Studio.

· Experience with relational databases such as Oracle (12c/19c), SQL, and PL/SQL.

· Hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum teams.

Desired Skills:

· Experience with React.js or other modern JavaScript frameworks.

· Knowledge of JBOSS Enterprise environment.

· Familiarity with reporting tools (Jasper Reports, Crystal Reports, Business Objects).

· Understanding of accessibility standards (ADA, WCAG 2.0, Section 508).

· Experience with testing frameworks (JUnit) and logging frameworks (Log4j).
