Lead Robotic Welding Technician (Fanuc Systems)Curious if this role is for you? Let’s break it down.What will I be doing day-to-day?
- Operating and overseeing a robotic weld cell with Fanuc industrial robots
- Touching up weld points and performing finish welding/post-weld touchups
- Troubleshooting faults and error codes to keep production moving
- Carrying out basic robot maintenance
- Reviewing blueprints and weld symbols to confirm weld requirements
- Flagging any potential quality or compliance deviations (including revisions and weld symbols)
- Completing all quality documentation as specified by work instructions
- Ensuring all welded assemblies meet standard work requirements
- Safely performing basic crane lifts
- Using hand and air tools like die grinders, angle grinders, and drills
- Tacking parts together before robotic welding when needed
- Experience or familiarity with Fanuc robots
- Industrial robot programming and CNC programming
- Welding setups geared for production
- Maintenance and repair fundamentals and troubleshooting CNC machines
- Blueprint reading with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and team collaboration
