We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Tube Forming Machine Operator to run equipment that transforms flat metal stock into precision tubes. The ideal candidate will have experience with machine operation in a production or metal fabrication shop, and will be capable of maintaining product quality, safety, and efficiency.

Shift: 3:30pm to 12:30am

Pay: $25+ per hour

Location: Warren, MI

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor machines that convert flat sheets/slats of metal into cylindrical tubing, ensuring consistent tube shape, size, and configuration

• Set up and adjust machine settings (speed, feed, alignment) to meet specification and production targets

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on the machinery to avoid downtime

• Use measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify tube dimensions and tolerances

• Inspect finished tubes visually and with measurement tools for defects, dimensional accuracy, and conformance to quality standards

• Clean, trim, and label parts appropriately

• Load raw material and unload finished product; handle loading/unloading of pallets for shipment

• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all safety protocols

• Assist with general shop duties as needed (e.g. material handling, cleaning, supporting other operators)

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 1 year experience working in a shop environment or machine operation

• Mechanical aptitude; ability to understand machine operations and troubleshoot basic issues

• Basic math skills, ability to read and understand written instructions and blueprints/specifications

• Skilled in using basic measuring tools (calipers, gauges, etc.)

• Ability to visually inspect products for quality (size, configuration, finish)

• Ability to lift, move, or handle metal parts/pallets as needed for the job
