Assembly Supervisor | Hart, MI

Salary Range: $62,000 - $89,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily assembly line operations.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate assembly team members.
• Ensure production schedules and output targets are consistently met.
• Monitor product quality and implement corrective actions for non-conformances.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and equipment malfunctions.
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing assembly, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead capacity.
• Strong understanding of assembly processes, production scheduling, and quality control standards (e.g., ISO, Lean principles).
• Proven leadership and team management skills, including training, motivation, and performance evaluation.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving production issues.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and detailed work instructions.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and continuous improvement methodologies.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in ERP or MES systems for production planning and tracking.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, or CAD models.
• Proven experience in developing and delivering training programs for assembly staff.
