Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Accounting Department and manage daily operations
• Develop and enforce internal accounting controls and best practices
• Prepare timely, accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS
• Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes; provide variance analysis
• Deliver financial insights to support strategic decisions on pricing, investments, and contracts
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll, reconciliations, and audit support
• Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local financial regulations
• Collaborate with external auditors and lead audit preparation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration (required)
• 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience
• Experience working in a unionized environment is required
• Expertise in union labor budgeting, cost analysis, and contract compliance
• Proficiency in accounting systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and tax preparation tools
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
