Live ATM Banker

Core Responsibilities
- Assist customers with daily banking needs through the Live ATM
- Provide exceptional customer service to identify and understand customer banking needs through the Live ATM
- Cross-sell Mercantile products and services based on the needs identified
- Collaborate with other members of the retail banking team to help customers through additional products and services, as well as enhance the overall customer experience using the Live ATMs

A Look into Your Day
Mercantile Bank is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Live ATM Banker to join our Live ATM Department. In this role, you will be instrumental in assisting customers with processing various banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and payments, while ensuring exceptional customer service. You will greet customers promptly through our Live ATM and use multiple programs for customer verification to provide a seamless banking experience.
As a Chatter Champion, you will promote effective communication within the team, collaborate with retail banking colleagues, and help cross-sell Mercantile products. You will also educate customers on Live ATM usage and offer technical support via video banking technology. Your commitment to adhering to security, audit, and compliance requirements, along with your ability to build rapport in a virtual environment, will make you a vital part of our team.

What We're Looking For
To thrive as a Live ATM Banker at Mercantile Bank, candidates need a robust set of skills and relevant experience in customer service or the banking industry, ideally spanning one to three years. Proficiency in operating a 10-key calculator and computer keyboard is essential for efficiently processing transactions. A high school diploma or GED is required, with equivalent job-related education or experience considered.
Successful candidates will demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling them to engage effectively with customers. Organization and attention to detail are crucial in maintaining accurate records and adhering to compliance requirements. Time management skills are necessary to meet deadlines consistently, while interpersonal and customer service skills enhance customer interactions.

Requirements:
- One year to three years in a customer service, call center, financial industry/banking experience and or training environment
- Able to operate a 10 key calculator and computer keyboard.
- A high school education or GED, Equivalent job-related education and/or experience will be considered if the necessary knowledge skills and abilities to perform the functions of the job are proven.

Schedule:
The Live ATM Banker is a 40-hour work week position. The Live ATMs operate Monday-Friday 8:00am-6:00pm and Saturdays 9:00am-1:00pm. You will be expected to work Saturdays on a rotating schedule.
