Mechanical Engineer - GM

Job Description

The Mechanical Engineering team leads facility management, applying technical expertise to assess Aramark’s operating standards, measure performance, and recommend improvements. They verify the functionality of new building systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing. Engaged by the owner, they oversee the design and construction of multimillion-dollar projects. As part of commissioning, they conduct design peer reviews, review submittals, perform inspections, test equipment, and support owner training. All processes require proper documentation.

Compensation Data

The salary range for this position is $80K to $85K, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting. ​

Job Responsibilities

The desired candidate will possess a mechanical or electrical engineering degree or trade school degree (with 5 years of experience) in the fields of temperature controls, HVAC equipment or electrical equipment. The work will include both field and office work which will be home based. Work within the region will primarily be local to the hiring location and travel will be limited primarily to sites that can be accessed on a daily commute.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in an Engineering or Technical Related Field -or- Trade School (in similar field) with 5 years experience
• Highly motivated individual
• Experience with MS Word and Excel
• Ability to read and understand construction documents and specifications
• Automatic temperature controls experience is preferred
