Sales Manager
MS Ultrasonic Technology, LLC is seeking a polished, high-energy Sales Manager to drive new business growth in our advanced MS SonxTOP ultrasonic series welding machine division. This role is perfect for a tech-savvy, results-oriented professional who enjoys customer engagement, thrives on hitting aggressive targets, and is willing to travel frequently to develop strong client relationships.
MS Ultrasonic Technology, LLC offers customers a wide variety of solutions in the field of ultrasonic technologies: from ultrasonic components and ultrasonic systems to ultrasonic special machines and servo presses. MS Ultrasonic Technology, LLC is part of MS Ultrasonic Technology Group and Schunk Group.
Summary/objective
This role is responsible for driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, articulating technology and product positioning to potential customers and technical users as well as generating new business and ensuring growth of existing accounts.

Technical Management-
- Pre-Feasibility studies based on CAD data, technical specifications, MS standards
- Understanding of the Ultrasonic (US) application including machine cycle time/concepts
- Coordinate with SonxTOP Systems and Technology Expert during pre trials in the Ultrasonic lab
- Conduct technical training sessions in US theoretic and their practical applications for both, non-technical and technical audience
- Managing of technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction
- Catalyst for technical developments out of the market/ into the market
- Must be able to work with a team and in high stress environments
Sales Management-
- Represent MS at industry association meetings and trade shows
- Cultivate and facilitate contacts to customer accounts, existing and new
- Establish of a strong relationship to accounts
- Generate new business while ensuring growth of existing accounts
- Diligent communication internally and externally
- Coordination and collaboration across all departments
- Preparation of internal logs (RFQ/ internal order)
Financial Management-
- Calculation and preparation of quotes
- Negotiation final pricing and payment terms
- AR- supportive role
Work environment
The employee must be able to function independently in a variety of different work environments from industrial environments, which are concerned with heavy machinery and specialized equipment, to a remote environment, working from home or on the road. The employee may encounter high stress environments that require quick thinking, independent decision making and/or teamwork.
Physical demands
The employee is regularly required to grab, reach, type on a keyboard, handle, or feel. The employee must be able to clearly communicate company products to customer both face-to-face and electronically. The employee is occasionally required to stand and navigate an industrial environment. The employee must be able to work in high stress situations.
Travel required
The employee must be able to travel both locally and internationally on a regular basis (including but not limited to Canada, Germany, Mexico, Brazil & China).
Required education and experience
- 4-year Engineering or technical degree or equivalent experience and training
- 3+ years of experience in Engineering, preferably mechanical and electrical (mechatronic).
- 3+ year’s technical sales experience in automotive industry, ultrasonic machine building preferred, automation /integration environment.
- Computer skills: Must be adept in use of MS Office 2013 or later, particularly Excel and Word, and PowerPoint, Internet and email.
Preferred education and experience
- 3+ years of experience in Engineering, Industrial Automation/Integrator, Sales Engineering/Applications Engineering or estimating quoting with Ultrasonic Welding is a plus.
- Sales Engineering and/or applications engineering/estimating/quoting is a plus.
- SAP software experience preferred.
- Ability to read and write German Language a plus

Must be flexible and able to move between work environments with little notice. Must be able to think logically and quickly while maintaining excellent customer service and a calm demeanor. Must be organized, self-motivated, have a high level of emotional intelligence and have excellent customer service skills.
Work authorization/security clearance requirements
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
