Summary
We are seeking a talented individual who is responsible for driving execution of growth strategy and market objectives across the Government market through pursuit of strategic business opportunities, market branding and successful implementations that standardize client deliverables, increase alignment with Operations and optimize overall value to our clients.
Your role in our mission
- Manages a region and/or portfolio of clients.
- Drives sales of existing, new, and emerging products.
- Oversees Salesforce for Business Development, providing reports and tracking, and identifying strategies to address deficiencies in pursuits to drive targeted revenue growth.
- Understands client’s business and demonstrates technical competence in COB (Coordination of Benefits) and PI (Payment Integrity) portfolio of solutions.
- Manages the Business Development Team that contributes to the successful sales, overall service delivery and satisfaction of assigned clients.
- Specific responsibilities include achieving revenue and margin goals, enhancing and expanding client relationships, identifying and assisting with the development and execution of sales strategies, building and enhancing client relationships, and driving the overall Gainwell agenda within assigned clients.
- Responsible for setting and implementing the strategy for commercial sales.
- Understands the political and competitive landscape, and proactively protects and grows business accordingly.
- Builds strong relationships within the organization and externally with clients at various levels to facilitate integration and drive results.
- Adds value by identifying client expectations and then exceeding mutually agreed-upon objectives.
- Develops partnership opportunities; defines target growth goals and drives assigned functional area(s) toward achieving target growth goals.
- Provides significant input into corporate strategic goals and initiatives.
- Develops, negotiates and may approve contracts and other agreements with partners, vendors, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Successfully attracts, manages, retains, and develops employees, including succession planning.
- Continually promotes the organization by developing further contacts within the business community and serving as an ambassador in the market.
What we're looking for
- 10+ years of large account management and business development experience required in one of the following areas: Health insurance, Business consulting, Client service/business to business, and/or Healthcare policy
- 12+ years leadership, sales and business development with healthcare technology services and healthcare experience preferred
- Forward thinking in developing and driving new product design that drives strong value, considering financial model, competitive environment and future landscape.
- Drives the delivery of solutions within functional area(s) to support internal and external customers and works closely with other executives to drive cross-functional solutions.

- This is a remote opportunity with annual travel possible up to 25%.

The pay range for this position is $156,100.00 - $200,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
