Key Responsibilities

• Perform various welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick) according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment and tools.
• Inspect finished welds for quality, accuracy, and adherence to engineering standards.
• Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures and components.
• Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE.
• Grind, deburr, and finish welds to meet aesthetic and functional requirements.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in multiple welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick/SMAW).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
• Demonstrated knowledge of welding safety protocols and procedures.
• Relevant welding certifications (e.g., AWS D1.1, ASME Section IX) or equivalent demonstrable skill.
• Physical dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and stamina to perform welding tasks for extended periods.
• Experience working with various metals (e.g., carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum) and gauges.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with diverse welding processes (e.g., TIG, Flux-cored) or materials (e.g., aluminum, stainless steel).
• Proficiency in fabrication and fitting techniques.
• Forklift or overhead crane certification.
• Ability to interpret complex blueprints and schematics.
