Salary Range: $54,000 - $86,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and optimize CMM inspection programs from CAD models and engineering drawings.
• Interpret complex engineering drawings, GD&T specifications, and manufacturing requirements.
• Execute CMM inspections for first article, in-process, and final product verification.
• Analyze measurement data, identify non-conformances, and generate detailed inspection reports.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve measurement discrepancies and improve processes.
• Perform routine maintenance, calibration checks, and basic troubleshooting on CMM equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of CMM programs, inspection results, and equipment calibration.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in industry-standard CMM programming software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso).
• Expert-level understanding and application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Demonstrated ability to interpret complex engineering blueprints and 3D CAD models.
• Proven experience in programming, setting up, and operating CMMs in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of metrology principles, measurement uncertainty, and CMM calibration.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency with CAD software for model manipulation or fixture design.
• Experience programming or operating other metrology equipment (e.g., vision systems, laser scanners).
• Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) principles and data analysis.
• Lean Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt certification.
