Hybrid Work Schedule: 1 day in-office weekly
Salary Range: $80,000 – $90,000/year (Based on education & experience)

McLaren Health Care is seeking a Senior Decision Support Analyst to provide crucial financial and statistical analysis supporting executive decision-making across our health system. This is a high-impact role where your insights will directly shape operational efficiency, cost management, and strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide analytical operations support using diverse data sources to inform management decisions.
• Analyze large datasets to identify opportunities, develop proposals, and recommend cost-control strategies.
• Conduct financial and operational studies to enhance system performance.
• Maintain reporting accuracy and data integrity across multiple platforms.
• Assist with implementing new systems and tools for financial and operational reporting.
• Develop proformas and cost accounting analyses to guide major strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of healthcare finance or financial analysis experience — including hospital clinical/claim data and large database management.
• Strong skills in Excel and Access for data extraction and analysis.

OR (in lieu of degree):

• 10+ years of healthcare finance/financial analysis experience with strong SQL, Access, and Excel proficiency.

Preferred:

• Master’s in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration.
• 1+ year of experience with healthcare contract management/reimbursement systems.
• Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement methodologies.
• Experience with Tableau , SQL , and Cost Accounting (strongly preferred).
