Certified Surg Tech - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures. The clinician will prepare the operating room, sterilize and prepare equipment, and provide intraoperative support as a member of the surgical team. This opportunity is located in Bad Axe, MI at a hospital facility.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current national certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA). This is required by the client.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist in an operating room setting. Client requires 2+ years of CST experience.
• Experience assisting in Orthopedic, OB-GYN, and General surgery preferred.
• Ability to meet a 30 minute response time and float between nearby facilities as required by the client.

Preferred Qualifications:

• NBSTSA certification listed as required by the client; other perioperative certifications are desirable.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
• Will float between nearby hospital campuses. A 30 minute response time is required.
• Weekend coverage and on-call responsibilities required.
