Locums Radiation Oncology Physician
Seeking a Locums Radiation Oncology Physician to provide coverage in a predominantly outpatient setting in Alpena, Michigan is. This role offers a balanced schedule with a strong focus on continuity of care, treatment planning, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Position Details:
Start Date: May 26th
Schedule: 3 days per week
Shift Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Preferred Days: Tuesday – Thursday (flexible if needed)
Practice Setting
Clinic:90% Outpatient / 10% Inpatient
Inpatient consults are infrequent but possible
Dedicated weekly tumor boards (attendance required)
EMR: Epic
Dictation: Dragon

Radiation treatment management
Treatment planning and oversight

CT Simulation (CT Sim)
Image-Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT)
Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT)
Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT)
Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT)
Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS)
High-Dose-Rate (HDR) Brachytherapy
Requirements
Active Michigan medical license (MI license only)
BLS certification
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology
