Salary Range: $51,000 - $78,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a team of fabrication technicians and welders.
• Plan and coordinate daily fabrication schedules and workflow to meet production targets.
• Ensure all fabricated components meet engineering specifications and quality standards.
• Oversee the safe operation and maintenance of fabrication equipment and tools.
• Interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and work orders for accurate fabrication.
• Troubleshoot and resolve fabrication issues, material discrepancies, and production bottlenecks.
• Train new team members on fabrication techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in fabrication, including a supervisory or lead capacity.
• Strong proficiency in various fabrication techniques (e.g., welding, machining, sheet metal forming) and blueprint interpretation.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to train and motivate personnel.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities for production and equipment troubleshooting.
• Commitment to maintaining high quality standards and adherence to safety regulations.

Bonus Qualifications

• CAD/CAM software proficiency (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., AWS CWI, NDT Level I/II)
• Proficiency in advanced fabrication techniques (e.g., specialized welding, CNC plasma/laser operation)
• Basic project management or scheduling experience
