Assembly Supervisor | Mason, MI

Salary Range: $63,000 - $90,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise daily assembly operations and personnel.
• Ensure production schedules, quality standards, and efficiency targets are consistently met.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate the performance of assembly technicians.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
• Troubleshoot production issues, equipment malfunctions, and quality defects.
• Monitor and report on production metrics and identify areas for process improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize workflow and resolve inter-departmental issues.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in manufacturing assembly, including 2+ years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to train and motivate personnel.
• Solid understanding of assembly processes, tools, and equipment, including the ability to interpret technical drawings.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a commitment to continuous improvement principles.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective team and cross-functional interaction.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with manufacturing execution systems (MES) or enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
• Demonstrated experience in implementing continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Kaizen, 5S).
• Ability to interpret complex technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
