Key Job Responsibilities
- Coordinating the daily administrative activities, including scheduling, patient check-in and check-out, and patient medical record maintenance.
- Maintains accurate financial records by updating patient financial information and recording and collecting patient charges.
- Obtaining and recording vitals, test results, and other information for medical records while maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Preparing treatment rooms for clinical examinations.
- Processing of laboratory specimens being sent out to the lab.
- Comforts patients by anticipating patients' anxieties and answering patients' questions.
- Ensuring compliance with all health care regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Previous medical office or receptionist experience
- Familiarity with electronic medical health care record systems, especially EPIC.

- Strong organizational skills
